Manchester United: Euro giants interested in signing World Cup winner

Schweinsteiger could be offski

Manchester United are clearly doing the buying bit first this summer before allowing any players to leave.

But this is now a huge squad and it’s impossible to imagine that there won’t be some big departures before September.

Since Jose Mourinho arrived TFF has opined that Bastian Schweinsteiger could be one of those most at risk.

We are certain that Jose respects the player that Basti was. But the current model is slower and less mobile than the indefatigable Schweinsteiger in his pomp.

Perhaps the German has simply run too many hard yards in his career to play in The Premier League at 31 (32 in August).

Mourinho loves tenacious anchor men and we can’t see him keeping Basti at Manchester United.

To that end, the British press spoke this week about his possible departure.

The Daily Mail writes:

Paris Saint-Germain are showing interest in Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

The report states that Manchester United are yet to receive a formal offer for the player but Basti would apparently be open to talking to the French giants after a poor season in England which was wrecked by injury.

Let’s see some of Bastian Schweinsteiger’s better moments for Manchester United.

United supporters – can you see him playing a big part for the club next season or is his time in England up already?
