3 Meetings: Real Madrid ready to break world transfer record

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to smash the world transfer record in order to bring the brilliant Belgian international Eden Hazzard to the club this summer.

The report states that there have been three separate meetings between Real Madrid representatives and the entourage of Hazard as the club moves into position to make this huge transfer happen.

British media outlet, The Sun, reports:

Real Madrid will smash the world transfer record to land top target and £100million man Eden Hazard

The Belgian international had a real dip under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea the season before last. He returned to the boil last term under Antonio Costa and his form has been incredible.

He was easily one of the standout performers in the Premier League over the last twelve months and at the age of 26 he looks as if he has mastered the game of football at Chelsea.

He has already played 76 times and scored 17 goals for Belgium in a glittering career.

And he scored 72 goals in 248 games for Chelsea over the last five seasons. His stats last term were particularly impressive with 17 goals in 42 games from the wide areas. Hazard is an incredible creator for others but he also loves to cut in from the left side and unleash his unstoppable drives.

With Cristiano Ronaldo now moving inside at Real Madrid and playing at number nine more often than not there is a berth available on the left side with Gareth Bale on the right. And it appears as if Hazard could be primed to take over as the superstar of Los Blancos over the next few years.
