Arsenal need to improve the quality and depth of their squad and for that Emery needs to spend wisely in the winter transfer window.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then the north Londoners could move to sign Brazilian playmaker Malcom, who wants to leave Barca in January. Not to forget, he joined the Catalan giants in the summer transfer window from Bordeaux.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the likes of Arsenal, Inter Milan and Tottenham are interested in hiring the services (Press Image) of the 21-year-old South American.

The former Ligue 1 player joined the Catalan giants for 41 million euros and his current contract has a mammoth release clause (Mundo Deportivo) of 180 million euros (£159million).
In the presence of star playmakers like Coutinho and Dembele, Malcom has mainly been a bench warmer at the Nou Camp. Even Munir El Haddadi has played more minutes than the Samba attacker. So far, Barca have played 10 league games and Malcom has managed to get just 25 minutes in two substitute appearances.
In such a scenario, the Spanish source have mentioned that the Brazilian player wants to exit the La Liga club (on loan or on a permanent transfer) in the January transfer window.
As far as Arsenal are concerned, Emery has got stars like Ozil, Iwobi, Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan and Ramsey in his attacking midfield. The Welsh international will be out of contract next summer and it will not come as any surprise if he leaves the Gunners in the winter window.
In your opinion, should Arsenal splash the cash to sign Malcom, who directly contributed in 20 goals in all competitions for Bordeaux last season?
