Report – Liverpool working to secure signing by offering two things

Lallana-Klopp

Liverpool are linked with French international and PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who is going to be out of contract next summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Les Bleus midfielder has already rejected four contract offers from the French champions and therefore, clubs like Barca, Liverpool, Juventus, Man City, Man United and Arsenal are looking to secure his signature on a free transfer.

The Spanish outlet have mentioned that the above mentioned clubs are working on to secure the player by offering him two things i.e. good salary and a signing on bonus.

Stats:

Rabiot has been a regular starter for the Ligue 1 giants for quite some time. He featured in 50 games for them in the last campaign and directly contributed in 12 goals.

However, his impressive displays for the club were not enough to earn him a place in Deschamps’ World Cup squad. France eventually went on to win the ultimate prize in Russia without him.

This season, so far, the 23-year-old star has played 11 games in all competitions, scored 1 goal and provided 1 assist.

Situation at Liverpool:

Jurgen Klopp has already invested a lot to strengthen his midfield department in the past few transfer windows. Last year, he opted to lure Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal and this year he captured Keita from Leipzig and Fabinho from Monaco.

Moreover, Wijnaldum, Milner and Henderson have been in good form this season, so the Merseysiders do not really need to sign Rabiot.
