Report: Manchester United and Chelsea players targeted

Manchester United and Chelsea fans may be in for a long summer as speculation drizzles on about the futures of two of their biggest stars.

This time it’s the turn of British media outlet, The Daily Mirror, which suggests that two of the A-listers of these elite clubs are being targeted by Real Madrid.

They say:

Real Madrid determined to seal summer transfers of Manchester United’s David de Gea and Chelsea star Eden Hazard

With such an imperious squad already there aren’t too many players who could markedly improve the Real Madrid roster.

But these two irrefutably could.

Keylor Navas has been a solid keeper for Real Madrid but the Manchester United stopper is in a class of his own in the opinion of TFF.

He’s the best shot stopper in world football with lightening reflexes and superb athleticism. But he’s also impeccable at handling the ball and often appears to have glue on his gloves.

De Gea has played 262 times for Manchester United over the course of six seasons and would be a massive loss to the club. With United on the way up under Jose Mourinho it will be an extremely difficult choice for De Gea to make.

And anyone with a passing interest in the Premier League will know all about Hazard. The Belgian maestro is also 26 and at the top of his game. He’s hit 11 goals for table-topping Chelsea this season and has twisted the blood of every full back in the league.

Real Madrid would certainly be a stronger side with these two in it and fans of both clubs will be feeling not a little vulnerable to the desires of Los Blancos this summer.
