A Speedy Manchester United XI to take the points at Chelsea

We are expecting a similar Manchester United XI in this one to the side which took to the field at Liverpool.

But, whereas Liverpool currently possess one of the fastest and most frightening attacks in Europe, Chelsea are far more workmanlike.

They do still have the great pace of Hazard and Willian, with the deadly Costa up top. But they don’t attack with quite the blistering pace of Liverpool.

So perhaps we should expect a slightly more adventurous line up and display at the weekend. We are certainly hoping for one after a solid if unambitious performance against The Reds at Anfield.

Because if Manchester United want to win the league they are going to have to start motoring. They are already five points behind Manchester City at the top of the table and The Citizens have a straightforward looking game at home against Southampton this weekend.

So if Manchester United look for another draw they could well find themselves seven points off the pace come the start of next week.

Ashley Young obviously does a great defensive job against the big teams for Manchester United. But we are hoping to see a start for Anthony Martial if he is fit.

If he and Rashford start, Chelsea will be faced with all sorts of problems from the wide areas and this will peg back their wing backs.

A win at Chelsea will see Manchester United having a great week. Anything less and it may already start to look like United are fighting for a top four spot instead of for the title.

Here’s the team that TFF thinks can take the points. Manchester United fans: agreed?
