Tottenham look set for a successful end to their long pursuit of Vincent Janssen with the deal expected to be completed this week, according to latest reports.
The Daily Mirror states:
Tottenham set to complete Vincent Janssen transfer this week in £16million deal
The report states that while Tottenham have been haggling over a fee PSG and West Ham have both waded in to negotiations but that the player’s heart is firmly set on a move to North London this summer.
All eyes will be on Tottenham’s transfers this summer as boss Mauricio Pochettino seems to be a real alchemist in the market after making some brilliant additions last season – not least Dele Alli who cost peanuts from MK Dons and is now a certain starter for England.
As for Janssen he moved to AZ from the tiny Almere City in the Dutch leagues in 2015.
Since that move the 22-year-old has been on fire with 31 goals in 49 games.
The 5ft 11in striker also made his debut for Holland this year and has scored 3 goals in just 5 games.
He’s a finisher and a decent target man who looks well suited to the rigours of The Premier League.
Whether he could play in the same team as Harry Kane at Tottenham remains to be seen. Perhaps he will be used as a back up for the England man.
Here are some on Janssen’s better moments for the club. Tottenham fans: a worthy addition?
