Tottenham linked with brilliant 22-year-old forward

Tottenham are keen to sign the young Lazio forward Keita Balde according to reports in the British media over the latest news cycle.

British media outlet, The Mirror, reported in the latest news cycle:

Tottenham rival Liverpool for £30m-rated Lazio star Keita Balde as Mauricio Pochettino eyes reinforcements

The 6ft forward was born in Spain but has represented Senegal on 12 occasions and scored three goals since his is debut in 2016.

He’s been at Lazio for four entire seasons now and had a really good run in the team on all of those campaigns. He’s amassed 134 games in total for the club but really only started scoring with a good goal ratio last term when he hit 15 goals in just 31 games. Until then he had been in single figures each season despite getting a lot of gametime.

So he’s honed his game to perfection over the last few years and Tottenham could definitely use his quality. Because he’s a really fast and powerful player who breaks up the park quickly and never seems to stop running. He’s got excellent technique on the ball and at 22 years of age there is so much room for improvement.

This is a crucial summer transfer window for Tottenham who surely need to push on again after a sensational campaign last term where they so nearly overhauled Chelsea at the top. With a better summer in the transfer market than they had last time Tottenham really could crack the league in the next campaign.

Let’s take a look at Balde in action.

Tottenham fans – is this the sort of player to add quality to the first XI or would he just be a squad man?
