In such a situation, the Reds really do not need to sign another central midfielder but reports in the media suggest that they want to sign Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey.<\/p>\n
According to Mirror Sport, Jurgen Klopp tried to sign the Welsh international in the summer transfer window but the player eventually stayed with the Gunners.<\/p>\n
The British source have mentioned that the Merseysiders will move in again to lure the 27-year-old former Cardiff City man to Anfield. Ramsey will be out of contract next summer and he can agree a pre-contract with any club in January. Arsenal would like to sell him in the winter transfer window to at least get some cash from his departure.<\/p>\n
It is further mentioned that the Arsenal star would like to move to Liverpool as he is excited about the chance of playing under Klopp.<\/p>\n
Ramsey is not just a central midfielder, over the years he has effectively played in the attack for the north Londoners, therefore, Liverpool could have a huge asset if they can secure his signature.<\/p>\n
Last season, the \u20ac124,000-a-week player (The Daily Star) scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists in all competitions for Arsenal. This season, so far, he has only managed to provide 2 assists in 8 games.<\/p>\n
