When Henrikh Mkhitaryan had an absolute shocker against Manchester City in September, and then went missing for months, many wondered whether he’d have a career at Manchester United at all.

After a long wait and a few promising cameo appearances, he finally gave some wonderful displays over the last weeks and hit decisive goals in his lost two games. Unfortunately he was injured in a heavy challenge from a Tottenham player at the weekend but will only be out for a couple of weeks.

This shouldn’t ruin the momentum of a player who looks as if he is starting to tick all of the boxes as a modern attacker. He’s quick, incisive and loves to pass the ball early. Even good Premier League players like to take a touch before moving the ball on, but the Armenian loves that first touch game.
