Barcelona haven’t messed around in the transfer window if latest reports are to be believed.<\/p>\n
Because, before the January ventana<\/em> is even abierto<\/em>, the grand old club have seemingly agreed a deal for a superb young talent.<\/p>\n Spanish sports media outlet, Sport.es, reports:<\/p>\n Cancelo ser\u00e1 jugador del FC Barcelona <\/strong><\/p>\n or<\/p>\n Cancelo will be a Barca player <\/strong><\/p>\n A deal of around 30m Euros is said to be in place for the Valencia man.<\/p>\n The 22-year-old Portugal international has had a remarkable start to his international career. The right back has scored three goals in his first four appearances for his country which gives a good indication of his style of play and why Barcelona were so keen to tie him down.<\/p>\n He’s fast, athletic and probably prefers the attacking part of the game to his defensive duties.<\/p>\n He went on loan to Valencia from Benfica in 2014\/15 and made 13 appearances before a permanent move the following year. From that point on he became a crucial member of the team and played every time he was fit last season, with 39 appearances and three goals for the Spanish outfit.<\/p>\n He’s a wonderful young talent and could be the long-term answer to Dani Alves who had such a great career at the club.<\/p>\n Barcelona fans: the perfect addition at this point or would you rather the Barca board where looking at offensive reinforcements to challenge for La Liga in the second half of the season?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
