Rumour: Zidane wants to sell Manchester United target – not Morata

There is a definite sense that Welsh superstar Gareth Bale wants to stay at Real Madrid beyond this summer.

The forward has been in and out of the team over the last season due to injury but he seems very happy in Spain with his young family.

But if Real Madrid decided they wanted to sell him there is ultimately little that he can do. Because he’s not going to want to spend the season on the bench.

Latest reports in England and Spain suggest that the French supremo is ready to offload Bale in order to bring the sensational youngster Kylian Mbappe to the club.

British media outlet, The Daily Star, reports:

ZINEDINE ZIDANE reportedly wants to get rid of Gareth Bale so he can make room for Monaco star Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid.

Manchester United seem to be casting the net wide in terms of who they could pick up for their forward line this summer.

Names like Antoine Griezmann, Romelu Lukaku and Mbappe himself have come and gone. Latest rumours suggest that Alvaro Morata could be coming to Old Trafford. And what a double signing it would be from Los Blancos if Manchester United could also bring Bale to the club.

He just seems so tailor-made to be the successor for Ryan Giggs and tear up and down that wing destroying opposition defences in the Premier League.

We’ll surely see him back in England at some stage and now is as good a time as any as he’s in his prime.
