Audacious Zlatan replacement lined up at Manchester United?

We have certainly heard this one before. Manchester United are ever on the look out for top strikers and with their profligacy in front of goal costing them too many points this season, a world-class striker in his pomp could solve a lot of problems.

British media outlet, The Express, reckons that Manchester United may go in for a player who is linked with big moves more than most.

They say:

The 29-year-old has been offered a three year deal to replace his expiring contract but his relationship with PSG has been rocky and he may well fancy one last big contract in the compelling Premier League.

He is a wonderful player of course – his movement and dynamism would certainly enliven the Manchester United attack – but he isn’t known as the most efficient player in front of goal and needs lots of chances to scores goals.

That said, he has a great scoring ratio with 103 goals in 169 games for PSG. In total he has scored 256 in 454 club games and 37 in 89 for Uruguay.

He would have to be considered a great investment for a Manchester United side which is definitely improving but which stills seems to lack the cutting edge of a Manchester City, Liverpool or Chelsea up front.

Let’s see some of his better moments in his glittering career.
