Arsenal linked with frightening young forward

Arsenal are having another consistent season but it’s being somewhat blighted by these constant rumours about the potential departures of some of their biggest stars.

They seem to have stopped the rot in the last few seasons in terms of having to sell their best talent to clubs with bigger wallets. But there remain big doubts about the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, who both have just 18 months left on their current contracts and don’t appear particularly close to signing new ones at this point.

With talk of outside interest in the players abounding, Arsenal may wish to make contingency plans should one or both decide to leave the club this summer. And the latest player to be linked is a frightening young forward who has made the breakthrough with Milan and scored 3 goals in 18 games this season.

Sky Sports passes this on from Spain:

Arsenal will move for AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang if Alexis Sanchez leaves the Emirates, according to Mundo Deportivo in Spain

The report states that West Ham are also keen to sign the young man who is blossoming into a prolific wide man.

Niang has been on loan at Genoa and Montpellier since signing for the Italian giants Milan in 2012. He is a winger by trade but a modern forward who can play in various positions and formations across the front line. He looks to TFF like the sort of Henryesque player who may hone his scoring talents and increasingly drift in field as his career progresses.

The Frenchman has played three times for the France U21s and scored one goal in his fledgling career. He’s quick, strong and such a natural with the ball at his feet..
