Game changer: Price set for Chelsea target – report

Chelsea look keen to spend again in the summer and they will have to dig deep if they want to sign one of their reported targets.

British media outlet, The Sun, reports:

Tiemoue Bakayoko: Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City targeted slapped with £52m price-tag by Monaco

The 22-year-old has really burst onto the scene so quickly over the last year or so.

His potential was clearly recognised at international level and he has been part of the France youth set up for several years now.

But it is at club level where he has really shone since his debut at the age of 18.

He played one season for Rennes in France and hit the ground running with 28 games and one goal before being snapped up by giants Monaco in 2014.

He made quick progress there too and has become a first choice player over the last three seasons with more minutes in each campaign. In total he has played 78 times for the French side and scored 4 goals.

And he is very firmly a defensive midfielder. But his influence in games is already huge and he can have a similar, game-changing impact in England as fellow countryman N’Golo Kante.

The fee may be huge but, at 22, Bakayoko can offer ten years of top quality service to an elite side and Chelsea may well be the recipients of his talent.

Chelsea fans: is he worth all that money or are you well set with Kante?
