Manchester United: Coach confirms midfielder interest

A major reshuffle is underway at Manchester United under the guidance of Jose Mourinho and it appears that he is open to offers for many of his first team players.

His signings so far have been excellent and he will want to bring more winners in of the ilk of Zlatan, Bailly, Mkhitaryan and Pogba.

To do that he is going to have to trim the squad and Morgan Schneiderlin is one who has been strongly linked with a move away from the club in the winter window.

And West Brom manager Tony Pulis has confirmed that he is interested in signing the Frenchman while remaining respectfully guarded about the exact situation with the player and Manchester United, in terms of negotiations.

When asked about the interest, he is televised on Sky Sports as saying:

“Morgan is just one of two or three that we’re looking at”

“The most important thing is that you do your business with other clubs and then be respectful to the other clubs and then you move on from there.”

Later this afternoon reports in The Guardian stated that Manchester United have rejected a £13m bid for the player.

Schneiderlin has been left out in the cold by Jose Mourinho and clearly hasn’t settled after his £25m move from Southampton in the summer of 2015.

A France international regular when he joined the club, his form dwindled quickly and he seemed to lose confidence in his ability on the big stage of Manchester United. 18 months later and Schneiderlin has lost his place for club and country.

A move seems like the most sensible option at this stage and TFF would be more surprised if he is still a Manchester United player by the end of January.
