Breakthrough? Forward wants Manchester United move – report

In the modern game with the will of the player is usually the most important aspect of any potential transfer move. Because with A-list players now worth so many millions they can lose value quickly by showing a lack of desire or rotting on the bench.

So it makes sense for clubs to cash in at the right time even if they don’t want to lose particular footballer.

And according to reports in Italy this seems to be the case with Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic. Italian media outlet Calcimercato suggests that the player wants to move to Manchester United this summer after his head has been turned by overtures from the English club.

They say:

In short, now the real problem of Inter is to be able to get the desired money, Corso Vittorio Emanuele has set a limit of 50 million euros, under which he will not go down. The Red Devils, on the other hand, have want to pay 40. They try to force them because they have the will of Perisic

The Croatia winger reminds us, and perhaps Jose Mourinho himself, of Arjen Robben. He’s a clinical, pacey and left-footed winger who provides superb assists for his teammates and scores goals too. He’s not a fancy Dan who wants to take on five or six players at once. He’s much more interested in the business end of football – scoring and setting up goals.

He’s played 57 times and scored 16 goals for Croatia and also been a regular scorer at club level. With 96 goals in 340 games in senior level club football he scores about one every three or four games.

And its those assists where he really shines. He’s so precise with his crossing and passing into the box and rarely wastes chances that so many other wingers do. He’s quick, strong and athletic and TFF believes that Manchester united would be getting a top level player if they brought the 28-year-old to the club.
