Manchester United must pay over 100m Euros for Wonder Kid

It’s really hotting up on the striker transfer front this summer and of course those who can score goals are generally valued the highest.

That is particularly the case for Manchester United who desperately need a number 9 to take them forward into the next era of glory.

And latest reports in the Spanish press suggest that Manchester United target Kylian Mbappe has been the subject of another huge bid – and worryingly the bid has been made by fierce rivals Liverpool have put in €75 million offer.

Monaco reject Liverpool’s 75 million euro offer for Mbappe

That would seemingly be lower than the bid that Manchester United made earlier in the month when the Guardian reported that:

Manchester United have £72m bid for Monaco’s Kylian Mbappé rejected

Manchester United have been linked this summer with the likes of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku and the Frenchman Antoine Griezmann has also apparently been on the radar for some time.

Both of them are excellent strikers but TFF can’t help but think that Mbappe would be a different level altogether. Not only is he young enough to spearhead Manchester United’s attack for a decade, but he’s got that air of fantasy about his game that the other two don’t.

Manchester United fans would probably be happy with any of these three strikers but TFF believes that Mbappe would take Manchester united onto a completely different level and with a forward line of Rashford, Martial and Mbappe Manchester United could terrorise Europe in the same way that Barcelona have over the last few years with Suarez, Messi and Neymar.

That report in Marca says that Monaco are holding out for €100 million Euros which works out at around £85.8 million.

As MARCA understands, the offer has been rejected by Monaco, who believe that the price tag carried by their prodigy should read a number above 100 million euros.

Manchester United fans: would this be the ideal addition to the squad this summer?
