Manchester United: Speedster to get another chance?

Manchester United fans all seem to love Luke Shaw. While he is still learning his trade he is popular at the club because he has all the hallmarks of a top class United full back.

He’s decent enough at the defending part and has the pace to recover from his mistakes. But going forward he’s superb. He glides across the surface with such elegance and speed and he also has a good quality final ball. He’s a wonderful addition to the attack and causes havoc in opposition defences.

But he hasn’t yet gained the trust of Jose Mourinho. He has been fit of late but not even in the match day squads. And this has left many to fear the worst for his Manchester United career. But one source in the British press begs to differ.

British media outlet, The Daily Mail, reports:

Manchester United are ready to persevere with left-back Luke Shaw despite an indifferent season and question marks about his attitude.

Still only 21 Shaw has so much time to smooth over the rough edges. Manchester United would surely be mad to let the player go after spending so much on him 2 years ago.

An horrific leg break didn’t help his momentum and he seems unsure of his positioning at times. But we have seen with the likes of Rojo, Jones, Mkhitaryan and Valencia that Mourinho is a superb man manager and coach.

TFF would be very surprised if Shaw was allowed to leave Manchester United because we still think that he is destined for the very top.

Reds fans – would it be a disaster to let the exciting wide man depart?
