Real Madrid linked with brilliant playmaker

Real Madrid are as strong as ever this season but one area of the team that continues to look unsettled is at number 10.

Players like Isco, Rodriguez and several others have filled the crucial spot in the team but no one has really nailed it down long-term.

And therefore we should expect regular rumours as the January transfer window approaches.

British media outlet, The Sun, reports:

Spanish giants Real Madrid are planning a £25m move for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, 25, who will link up with Wales team-mate Gareth Bale.

Ramsey was one of the stars of EURO 2016 and arguably played even better than Gareth Bale. He can operate in the engine room, as the advanced midfielder played in a 4-3-3 or as a number 10 in a 4-2-3-1. He ticks virtually every box as a footballer. He’s creative, has great technique, works hard, can put in a strong tackle, he’s quick and has a football brain.

Ramsey also scores goals with 11 in 45 for Wales and 43 in 269 for Arsenal. At just 25 he’s got years in the tank and TFF thinks that he would be a superb signing for Real Madrid.

The problem will be that he is already much loved at his current club and, although injuries have deprived him of a regular starting spot this season, he is very much seen as a vital member of a squad that is a genuine title challenger this season.

Let’s see some of his better moments. Real Madrid fans: would he get into the first XI?
