Real Madrid have been linked with a possible late move for Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, by reports in Spain.
Popular Spanish media outlet, Marca, reports:
Talk of the Gabon international’s potential departure has been rife all summer, with Real linked amongst a number of teams, but in recent days Aubameyang has reiterated to his current club that his heart is set on Real.
With the player seemingly keen to join the Spanish giant, the club itself may make a move according to the report, which states:
Even if Madrid have already splurged on Alvaro Morata ahead of the new season, the attacker wants to make the move south with Dortmund informing Los Merengues that they are his ideal destination, should an acceptable offer be tabled.
The 27-year-old Gabon international is one of the few players who TFF believe would have no problems getting into the Real Madrid starting XI. Not only because he is absolutely full of goals – he’s hit 82 in just 142 games for Dortmund – but because this is a player who can adapt brilliantly to several different positions in the starting line up.
He can play number 9 with no problems. But he is just as effective either side of the main striker in a 4-2-3-1 and could conceivably play at number 10 too.

Real Madrid may well have one more trick up their sleeve in terms of the summer transfer market, especially with the threat of a transfer ban looming over them.
And although it is very late for a transfer of this size, TFF believes that fans of Los Blancos would be very excited by this potential arrival.
