What a goal from Chelsea superstar

There has been much discussion from some onlookers that Chelsea don’t have a strong enough squad to cope with the demands of the Premier League as the title race heats up in the second half of the season.

But when we look at some of the players that can come into the Chelsea side, if injury does strike, TFF believes that there is huge quality in the squad.

John Terry is a magnificent defender despite his veteran status and he will be fresh for the second half of the campaign having not had so many minutes so far this season.

Mickey Batshuayi is a fantastic forward with so much potential. But the pick of the squad players has to be Brazilian star Willian. He would get it to most teams in the Premier League with ease but such has been the form of Spanish international Pedro this season that he’s found it really difficult to find minutes in the first team.

But he has scored goals whenever he’s played and surely he’s in the manager’s thoughts right now. He could well eclipse Pedro in the coming weeks as his form is just so good.

Willian has played 18 times for Chelsea this season and scored a creditable six goals from the wide areas. And many of those appearances have been off the bench.

The 28-year-old has played 48 times for his country and scored seven goals in what has been consistently brilliant career. He will be hoping that he gets back into the first team before too long. And with goals like these, how can Chelsea leave him out?
