A lot of it may be nonsense but we must take something from the fact that most of the rumours have pertained to right-backs. TFF has already written about Fabinho and Elseid Hysaj today and another full-back is reportedly on the menu according to reports in France.

French Outlet Canal Plus reports (Via The Daily Express):

MANCHESTER UNITED reportedly scouted Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier during the international break.

The 23-year-old is a top talent – powerful, quick and technically gifted – but his career hasn’t been without controversy and TFF wonders how two volcanic personalities such as Mourinho and Aurier would get on.

The Ivory Coast international has already played 31 times for his country in his relatively short professional life. He hasn’t always been a first choice at PSG in his senior career and this has led to many rumours about a transfer to The Premier League.

If he can focus on his football then this is a top talent in the making. A truly powerful and tireless full back who could solve a problem area in Manchester United’s squad.

Antonio Valencia has worked hard at right back but lacks finesse. Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian and Timothy Fosu-Mensah have all been tried there in recent times but Darmian has failed to consistently impress and Fosu-Mensah remains raw.

Let’s see the young man in action. Manchester United fans: a good investment?
