Arsenal may finally push the boat out this summer and really go mad in the transfer market as they look to inject the sort of quality that will finally get them over the line with league title.
And latest reports in the British press suggest that a superb trio is being lined up by Arsene Wenger.
British media outlet, The Daily Telegraph, reports:
Arsène Wenger is pushing forward with an overhaul of his attacking options in preparation for major Arsenal departures this summer, with potential deals for Kylian Mbappé, Alexandre Lacazette and Thomas Lemar all still being worked on.
This would suggest in the first instance that Alexis Sanchez is going to leave the club this summer. Arsenal would of course love to hold onto him but if they sign two more strikers the writing may be on the wall for the Chilean international who could be courted by many elite clubs in Europe.
But few Arsenal fans would be too concerned if they signed Kylian Mbappe in his stead. The teenage sensation from Monaco is probably the most sought-after talent in world football right now and it’s easy to see why. He plays the game with such freedom and efficacy that it’s hard to imagine he could get any better.
He is a force of nature, scores goals for fun and looks every bit like the next Thierry Henry.
Alexandre Lacaezette has been banging in goals for fun for Lyon again this season and may have had his final game for the club. With him and Mbappe up front Arsenal would be a scary proposition indeed next season.
And Thomas Lamar is an excellent and mobile midfielder who would add mettle and creativity to the engine room. But let’s take a look at Kylian Mbappe in Full flow.
Arsenal fans- do you feel confident that you can tie up a deal for this sensation?
