Liverpool could agree major signing for £96million – Report

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool have been linked with Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele as per recent reports going on in the media but will they be able to lure him in the winter transfer window. We shall see.

According to The Daily Mail, the Catalan giants are open to selling the French international and the Reds are the most likely buyer.

The British outlet have mentioned that the La Liga champions paid £96million to Dortmund to sign Dembele. They have also paid £9million in add-ons and could avoid paying the remaining £26million worth add-ons if they opt to sell him in January.

The Daily Mail have further reported that Liverpool could sign Dembele in the middle of the season if they come close to matching the fee of £96million.

The 21-year-old Les Bleus star has the quality to become one of the best playmakers in the world and he will be a top class addition if Klopp can bring him to Anfield.

Dembele can play on either flank, as a central attacking midfielder and also as a secondary striker if needed. He can dribble and strike the ball hard with both feet.

This season, so far, he has scored 4 goals and provided 1 assist in 7 league starts under Valverde but off the field, his discipline has been a problem for the club.

In your opinion, should Liverpool splash £96million to get his signing done?
