Manchester United need to strengthen their team in the winter transfer window after a terrible first few months of the current campaign.
The Red Devils are linked with several quality defenders and Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly is the latest name in the lime light.
Yesterday, Duncan Castles covered a report for The Daily Record and claimed that Mourinho has ‘proposed’ to move for the Senegalese international, who is arguably one of the best center backs in the world.

The renowned journalist (The Daily Record) mentioned that to raise transfer funds, the Portuguese manager is ready to sell the likes of Rojo and Jones.
This season, the Argentine center half has not played a single game for the senior team and on the other hand, the English defender has only made a single appearance in the PL.
Koulibaly has so far featured in every league game for Napoli, who are second in the table under the management of Carlo Ancelotti. The African star is at the peak of his game and he will be a top quality addition if United can somehow lure him in January.
The 27-year-old’s current contract with the Serie A giants will expire in 2023 and he is valued at around £88million (The Metro).
