Offer soon – Man Utd could agree £9.2m-a-year deal with their playmaker

Manchester United playmaker Anthony Martial was mainly a bench warmer in the last campaign after the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in the winter transfer window.

The Chilean international has been very poor in the current campaign and lately, Martial has stepped up to impress Jose Mourinho.

In such a scenario, reports suggest that the Red Devils are prepared to agree a new contract with the French international, who also wants to stay at the club.

According to RMC Sport, Manchester United should very soon make an offer to secure a contract with the former Monaco player that could make him earn around £177,000-a-week (£9.2m-a-year).

In the last two PL outings, Martial has found the net three times. Moreover, in two Champions League starts this season, he has scored once in the competition.

The speedy winger was brilliant for the Red Devils against Chelsea at the weekend. However, he failed to make any impact vs Juventus last night.

At the moment, the 22-year-old star is only earning around £65,000-a-week (The Express). In your opinion, does he really deserve such a huge pay rise?
